Summer is in full swing, which means your social calendar is probably packed with plans—I know mine is. But between the parties, weddings, vacations and other events, it’s easy to get a little carried away when it comes to spending. So I’ve put together a little guide guaranteed to keep the fun going, featuring 10 free and cheap things to do in Orange County this summer.
Have you ever visited somewhere for the first time and wondered, “how did I not know this place existed”? Well, that’s exactly what happened last weekend when I met a few of my girlfriends at the new Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach. This place is a hidden gem to say the least, from the architecture and design to the shops, restaurants and cafes-and let’s not even get started on its dreamy marina-front location.
As basic as this may sound, the thing I look forward to most on the weekends is brunch. I mean, I would pretty much live off of mimosas and eggs benedict if I was allowed. I’ve been to my fair share of brunch spots in Orange County and, don’t get me wrong, I’ve had some delicious meals. But last weekend’s experience was one that’ll be hard to top.
