Hey LA friends! I’m teaming up with some of my favorite bloggers to give two lucky winners tickets to the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Los Angeles on October 14, 2017! Want to join me and some of your favorite celebs for a day of champagne, sun and amazing style? Here’s how to enter:
Even though it may be a little cliché, Melrose is one of my favorite places in Los Angeles. The street is lined with the cutest cafés, one-of-a-kind vintage shops and world-renowned designer boutiques—not to mention some of the city’s most Instagrammable landmarks. Below, I’ve created the ultimate guide featuring the top 5 must-have photos that’ll take your feed to the next level.
Last weekend, I had the opportunity to visit one of Los Angeles’s most sought-after summer attractions: the Museum of Ice Cream. In case it hasn’t been filling up your Instagram feed like it has mine, the pop-up museum is a converted warehouse in downtown’s Arts District with the most photo-worthy art installations, activities and, of course, ICE CREAM.
Last week, I took a much-needed PTO day, hopped aboard a catamaran in Newport Beach and set sail to Catalina Island (you can read my outfit post here). Most SoCal locals know Catalina as the mountainous piece of land you can sometimes see off the coast on those rare smog-free days. However, to my surprise, most haven’t visited it. The last time I had was over 10 years ago, before I even lived in L.A., so I was due for a trip.
Last fall, I had the opportunity to do a photoshoot in Venice Beach for two of my favorite fashion labels: Carmar Denim and Emma & Sam. This was my first real collaboration and I was extremely excited to represent brands that I truly love and actually wear on the reg. We spent the day on the eclectic Venice Beach boardwalk trying to capture that iconic California vibe the brands are known for. Despite a few alleyway outfit changes and awkward wardrobe malfunctions that come with street-style shoots, I have to say, I think we succeeded.
