Okay, I’m just going to be honest—I don’t work out. I have tried countless times to incorporate exercise into my daily routine, but it just hasn’t stuck. I think it might have to do with the fact that I’ve never really found a class or workout I loved doing so much, that I actually wanted to keep doing it.
So, as cliche as this may sound, this year my resolution was to really try to make it a habit. And if there’s one thing that helps motivate me, it’s cute activewear. That’s where Ellie Activewear comes in. Ellie Activewear is a subscription-based activewear brand that sends you a box of workout gear every month. The best part? It’s actually affordable! Most cute workout gear is SO EXPENSIVE (yes, I’m talking about you, Lululemon), so it’s really refreshing to find a brand that creates high-quality, trend-driven pieces that won’t break the bank.
If you know me, you know I love a good black-and-white combo, so obviously I was extremely excited when I received my January box. The white sports bra is super cute with stripes and a strappy back, and the lace-up detail really gives the black leggings a cool touch. Finished off with a racerback ‘FIT’ graphic tee, this outfit definitely motivates me to get out and be active. The proof? I’ve already signed up for TWO workout classes! My hubby and I tried a kettle bell class at CRAVE Personal Training in Huntington Beach, which i LOVED but left me sore for a week (the good kind of sore, of course). Tonight, I’m heading to Rhythm Ride in Laguna Beach with my office for a team spin class! And all because I finally have cute activewear to show off. Hey, whatever motivates you, right?
Ellie has two options when signing up for a subscription. The one I received was the 5-item box that includes a full outfit (sports bra, leggings and a tank), as well as two accessories that vary from month to month for $49.95. This month included a set of performance loops and a makeup bag (you can see the full box on my Insta stories @kimmykitta). You can also sign up for the 3-item box that just includes the outfit for $39.95 per month. Either way, you really can’t go wrong. Sign up now to get next month’s box!
