Denim jackets—they’re pretty much a wardrobe essential for everyone, men and women alike, regardless of what your personal style might be. However, as universal and versatile as the may seem, they just don’t seem to cut it when the cold weather rolls around. The solution? Sherpa.
Sherpa-lined denim jackets are the perfect way to wear the trend in the winter months. Whether it’s real or faux, that super-soft layer adds just the right amount of warmth and gives the otherwise easygoing outerwear piece a dash of luxurious appeal.
Real winter weather hasn’t quite hit us here in Southern California, but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to pretend like it has. I styled my sherpa jacket with my new Minkpink ‘Golden Girl’ embroidered crop top, then finished the look with my H&M faux-leather skirt and Matisse Footwear leopard-print booties from a few posts ago. Yes, I’e been wearing these on repeat. No, I am not ashamed. I mean, with pieces these good, do you blame me?
Sherpa denim jackets are definitely a winter wardrobe staple. I think they’re one of those pieces that will always be ‘in’, regardless of current trends or styles.
