2017 is coming to an end, which of course calls for a celebration. Personally, I’m not really into the club scene, especially on New Year’s Eve. I’d rather attend a more intimate gathering, or host one of my own with close friends and family. Though, with hosting comes a lot of responsibility and stress. Thankfully, this year I have Austin Cocktails to help make things a little easier.
Austin Cocktails creates all-in-one, pre-mixed, bottled craft cocktails. They prepare all their drinks using five-times distilled vodka and premium tequila, and use all-natural herbs like mint, basil, fresh fruit juices and agave nectar. Their craft cocktails are full-bodied, well balanced and naturally low calorie—pretty much everything I’m looking for in a good drink.
For New Year’s Eve, I decided to serve two of their best-selling cocktails: the Cucumber Vodka Mojito and Fred’s Ruby Red Cocktail. But before I offered them to my guests, I of course had to sample them myself, and let’s just say I was not disappointed. Both were light, refreshing and gave me the perfect buzz. When trying to mix regular cocktails, it’s super easy to get the proportions all wrong, which can totally ruin a drink. Plus, it’s a lot of pressure if you’re playing bartender for your guests. But with Austin Cocktails, you can simply chill and serve or pour over ice and voila—the perfect cocktail in seconds, no recipe or other ingredients required. I might just hide the bottle and take all the credit myself…
I’ll definitely be keeping my bar stocked with Austin Cocktails well past New Year’s. They have so many more I want to try like the Tea Twister Cocktail, Paradise Found Cocktail and Bergamot Orange Margarita (my mouth is watering just thinking about them). It’s taken all the restraint I have in me not to finish off the bottles before my guests even arrive… But I do want them to experience the utter perfection of Austin Cocktails, so I guess I’ll have to save the rest for them. Ladies and gents, it’s officially #CocktailTime.
