I’m not usually one to wear vibrant colors and prints, but when the weather starts warming up, I can’t help but gravitate towards the tropical pattern play that’s hanging in every store window. There’s just something about a summer floral that puts a smile on my face and makes me feel like I’m on vacation, even if I’m stuck in front of the computer at work.
This red floral-print romper from Wyldr is my new go-to for, well, pretty much everything. It’s breezy, lightweight and incredibly comfortable. The plunging neckline gives it a sultry touch, while the cap sleeves keep it totally casual (I love a good juxtaposition). Plus, the zipper runs right up the front, making it easy to get on and off a.k.a. no more awkward bathroom stall moments!
I styled it with my Sam Edelman sandals, Free People straw bag and white panama hat for a day on Catalina Island with my mom and husband this past weekend. Even though it felt right at home on the island’s sandy beaches, I could easily swap out my sandals for heels, my straw bag for a cute clutch and voila—I’m date-night ready. That’s the thing about floral rompers: from April to September, there’s nowhere you can’t wear them. I know I’ll be living in them all summer long, but what about you?
