If you’ve been following my blog, you know that I obviously love a good jeans-and-tee outfit—I practically live in them. However, separates can sometimes make getting dressed a little more complicated than it really needs to be (who feels me?!). Enter: matching two-piece sets. This trend has been on the scene for a while now, and I’m so glad it’s still around. It’s the perfect style compromise: the ease of a dress meets the comfort of separates. No more figuring out what to pair with what, it’s all done for you.
I found this matching polka-dot number at the new LF Outlet in Huntington Beach I shared in my festival style post a few weeks ago. The breezy lightweight material and classic black-and-white pattern had me instantly sold. Easy, comfortable and totally chic—it’s what I call a no-brainer.
However, just because these sets are (literally) made for each other, doesn’t mean you’re required to wear them together. Both the polka-dot crop top and shorts can easily be mixed and matched with anything else in my wardrobe. I’m all about versatility when it comes to style, so this is a total win-win.
